‘UP wants to end negative politics’: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav said that the people of Uttar Pradesh wanted to end negative politics and start moving forward, reports ANI.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has begun campaigning for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. Addressing a public meet in Agra, Mayawati said even thought the BSP could not win any seat amongst nine Assembly seats of Agra district in the last elections held in 2017, the party had won 6 out of nine seats in 2007 and 2012 Assembly elections in the district.
“Sixty percent of dalits in Agra are jatav who has remained solid vote bank of BSP unlike non jatav dalit vote who remain divided,” she added.

Budget focused on modernising agriculture, development in villages

‘Unconditional apology’: Hindustani Bhau in court over student riots
