Georgia Recruiting Recap: Where Kirby Smart And Staff Visited This Week – 247Sports

After hitting the road last week to check on a few remaining 2022 targets and see 2023 and 2024 prospects in person, Georgia coaches have once again put in some miles as they attempt to reap the recruiting benefits of winning the national championship. Georgia coaches have made several stops in their last four weekdays during the contact period, and Dawgs247 has logged some of those visits below. Monday

Kirby Smart and Tray Scott checked in on Camden (S.C.) four-star defensive lineman Xzavier McLeod. Smart also checked in on Jefferson (Ga.) 2024 four-star linebacker Sammy Brown and Grovetown (Ga.) four-star cornerback and Georgia commitment Marcus Washington.

Tuesday

Smart checked in on Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood Top 100 quarterback Dylan Lonergan, Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview wide receiver Zion Taylor, quarterback Colin Houck, and 2024 wide receiver Mike Matthews. He then checked on Macon (Ga.) Tattnall Square Top 100 defensive end Zavion Hardy and 2024 offensive tackle Web Davidson, and Fort Valley (Ga.) Peach County running back Chris McMillian. He also checked in on Eatonton (Ga.) Putnam County wide receiver Jalon Kilgore, Warner Robins (Ga.) five-star defensive lineman Vic Burley, Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County 2025 quarterback Antwann Hill, and Gray (Ga.) Jones County 2024 wide receiver Zion Ragins, athlete Javious Bond, and safety Javion Clark. Smart and Schumann watched Barnesville (Ga.) Lamar County linebacker CJ Allen play basketball.

Luke checked in on Arlington (Texas) Lamar four-star offensive tackle Isaiah Robinson and Garland (Texas) Naaman Forest four-star defensive lineman Markis Deal. Assistant Will Muschamp checked in on Jonesboro (Ga.) cornerback Devon Rainey and Atlanta St. Piux X cornerback Jack Tchienchou. McGee checked in on Warner Robins (Ga.) Northside 2024 safety Ricardo Jones. Schumann checked in on Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby athlete Kenneth Kelly and Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County 2024 four-star tight end target Landen Thomas. Georgia also checked in on Gardendale (Ala.) Top 100 defensive lineman Kelby Collins.

Wednesday

Addae checked in on Valrico (Fla.) Bloomingdale cornerback Christian Bodnar and Clearwater (Fla.) Academy International four-star offensive tackle Lucas Simmons. Monken checked in on and offered Saline (Mich.) 2024 quarterback CJ Carr and checked in on Willis (Texas) 2024 quarterback DJ Lagway. Hartley extended an offer to Pensacola (Fla.) Catholic 2025 wide receiver Koby Howard and to Folsom (Calif.) four-star tight end Walker Lyons. Hartley checked in on Chandler (Ariz.) Basha interior lineman Ryan Blum, four-star cornerback and Oregon commitment Cole Martin, 2024 quarterback Demond Williams Jr, linebacker Wyatt Milkovic, safety Jeremiah Vessel, and 2024 athlete Miles Lockhart. High, and checked in on Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day linebacker Troy Ford, defensive lineman Terry Simmons, and 2025 running back Donovan Johnson. Assistant Buster Faulkner checked in on Peoria (Ariz.) He then checked in on Marietta (Ga.) cornerback Jace Arnold and Atlanta Pace Academy interior offensive lineman Trovon Baugh. After that, Smart checked in on Villa Rica (Ga.) linebacker T.J. Harvison and 2024 athlete Caleb Odom, Carrollton (Ga.) wide receiver Takare Lipscomb, and Douglasville (Ga.) South Paulding four-star interior offensive lineman Madden Sanker.
