LOS ANGELES (AP) — Drew Peterson had his first double-double of the season with a career-high 27 points and 12 rebounds, leading No. 21 Southern California to a 67-64 win over No. 12 UCLA. Petersen also had five blocks as the Trojans picked up their fifth straight rivalry win despite being without leading scorer Isaiah Mobley for the second straight game because of concussion-like symptoms. The Bruins nearly forced overtime with a late push in the final 41 seconds after being down by eight points, but Tyga Campbell’s desperation 3-pointer went off the back of the rim as time expired.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Marreon Jackson and Jalen Graham scored 14 points apiece and Arizona State (8-15, 4-9 Pac-12) held off Washington State for a 58-55 victory. Tyrell Roberts made consecutive 3-pointers to pull the Cougars to 53-52 with 2:53 left, but Jackson and Graham each answered with a 3-pointer to extend the lead to 58-52. Michael Flowers’ 3-pointer pulled Washington State (14-9, 7-5) within three. The Cougars had one more chance to tie it but turned the ball over on a cross-court pass on the inbounds to end it. Roberts made four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Freshman Harrison Ingram had 16 points, a season-high nine assists and six rebounds, Spencer Jones had 15 points and eight rebounds and Stanford beat Oregon State 76-65. Jaiden Delaire scored 12 points and Maxime Raynaud added 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting for Stanford (15-10, 8-7 Pac-12). Brandon Angel hit a 3-pointer and added a dunk about a minute later to make it 30-28 with 3:45 left in the first half and the Cardinal never again trailed. Oregon State (3-18, 1-10 Pac-12) has lost nine in a row since beating Utah 88-76 at the end of December. Jarod Lucas scored 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting for the Beavers.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Jade Loville scored 27 points, Mael Gilles added 19 and two big free throws, and Arizona State withstood a late rally to knock off No. 6 Arizona 81-77. The Sun Devils dominated through three quarters, building a 14-point lead while keeping the Wildcats mostly in check. Arizona rallied behind its defense, holding Arizona State without a field goal for nearly five minutes to cut the lead to three. The Sun Devils kept their composure down the stretch to beat the Wildcats for the second straight season in Tempe. Shaina Pellington led Arizona with 30 points.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Lexie Hull and Haley Jones each scored 15 points and No. 2 Stanford pulled away in the second half for a 91-64 win over Utah. Cameron Brink had 10 points and seven rebounds and moved into the school’s top 10 for career blocks as Stanford extended its conference winning streak to 26 games. Stanford hasn’t allowed an opponent to score more than 77 points since the end of the 2019-20 season. Gianna Kneepkens and Peyton McFarland scored 12 points apiece for Utah, which had won four straight.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona State has promoted defensive backs coach Donnie Henderson to defensive coordinator. Henderson has coached for more than 30 years and won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens in 2000. He served as the interim defensive backs coach last season after being hired as a consultant in 2020. Henderson will be in his second stint with the Sun Devils after serving as defensive backs coach from 1992-97. He was the defensive coordinator under current Arizona State coach Herm Edwards with the New York Jets from 2004-05 after five years with the Ravens.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Te-Hina Paopao scored 22 points, Nyara Sabally had 16 points and 11 rebounds and No. 24 Oregon beat Oregon State 74-66. Oregon went on a 14-0 run, capped by back-to-back 3-pointers from Sydney Parrish, in the first quarter. Paopao and Sabally combined for six of Oregon’s eight straight points to close the half for a 30-25 lead, including Paopao’s 3-pointer at the buzzer. Oregon led by as many as 14 points in the third quarter before Oregon State closed on a 18-3 run for a 52-51 lead. Sabally’s three-point play started a 14-2 run to give Oregon an 11-point lead with 3:49 left in the fourth and Oregon State didn’t get closer than six points the rest of the way. Parrish finished with 11 points for Oregon. Ellie Mack made five 3-pointers and scored 19 points for Oregon State.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — School-switching has never been more prevalent in college basketball thanks to the NCAA relaxing transfer rules and granting an extra year of eligibility from the pandemic season. An Associated Press review of rosters in the six major conferences and four programs ranked in the AP Top 25 poll show 29% of players have switched four-year schools at least once. Miami’s Charlie Moore and Minnesota’s Payton Willis are three-time transfers. Moore went from California to Kansas to DePaul to be close to his ailing father. Willis started at Vanderbilt, moved to Minnesota, left for College of Charleston and returned to the Gophers.
