Gale tells Elle that she makes sure to eat a healthy breakfast each day, and shared what she had that morning with the magazine. “Breakfast itself was plain yogurt, homemade pistachio butter, and homemade, grain-free müesli served with chopped-up apples.
While chocolate might not always be a healthy food, dark chocolate actually has a lot of benefits. Gale tells Elle that she likes to snack on dark chocolate each day. “I make sure to eat 30 grams of raw dark chocolate almost every day—it’s one of the best snacks that’s both delicious and guilt-free.”
One of Gale’s favorite ways to work out is by doing some boxing. She tells Elle that she likes to go box every free morning she has. “It’s always the first thing I do in the morning: If I don’t have to work or travel, I usually go every single morning to box.”
Gale tells Vogue that she likes to eat as healthy as she can, and that she likes to cook a lot of her meals. “Cooking healthy, nutritious and delicious meals is one of my biggest passions so eating ‘healthy’ for me isn’t ‘eating healthy’, it’s just eating.”
Gale has walked in a lot of different fashion shows, including the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She tells Vogue that whenever she’s about to hit the runway, she likes to cut out certain foods in her diet, and she makes sure to start her preparation early. “Four weeks before the show I like to kick it in high gear,” she says. “Which for me means cutting out sodium. I try to stay away from all kinds of sugars except for the sugars I get from the berries in my breakfast and coconut sugar from the occasional raw vegan chocolate bar that I eat.”
