It’s a battle between the Big East and Big Ten with a spot in the Elite Eight on the line.
Villanova and Michigan will meet in San Antonio on Thursday after taking very different paths to the Sweet 16. The Wildcats entered March Madness on a high note, winning their last five games and capturing the Big East Tournament title. They defeated both Delaware and Ohio State by double-digits during the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament.

The Wolverines, meanwhile, stumbled to the finish line, landing on the bubble after losing five of their last nine regular-season games. They bounced back, though, taking down Colorado State and Tennessee in the first two rounds to earn their fifth straight Sweet 16 berth.
Will Villanova keep cruising through the South Region? Or will Michigan continue its surprising run?
